Gas - Continuous Flow |
| Where natural gas is available,
a continuous flow system may be suitable.
A 5 star continuous (reduced) flow gas hot water system does
not require hot water to be stored in a cylinder. This system
transfers heat energy directly to the incoming cold water
as it is required. The water is heated to the required temperature
and supplied on demand, not from storage giving a continuous
supply of hot water. |

Gas - Storage
|
| This system should have a 5 star
rating as minimum, and is more suited to multiple outlet usage
for large families with several bathrooms giving mains
pressure throughout.
Particularly in metropolitan areas, this type of gas only
water heat is the most popular and the most familiar to installers.
Older style gas storage heaters tend to be quite inefficient |
