A 5 star continuous (reduced) flow gas hot water system does not require hot water to be stored in a cylinder. This system transfers heat energy directly to the incoming cold water as it is required. The water is heated to the required temperature and supplied on demand, not from storage – giving a continuous supply of hot water.

This system should have a 5 star rating as minimum, and is more suited to multiple outlet usage for large families with several bathrooms – giving mains pressure throughout.

Particularly in metropolitan areas, this type of gas only water heat is the most popular and the most familiar to installers.
